What it is
Malton London Press is an open-access academic publisher. Every book and conference paper it publishes can be read and downloaded for free.
What I did
I built the whole site and the system behind it. Readers browse and download books and conference proceedings, authors send book proposals through a form, and the editors publish everything from a content management system without touching code. Every paper page carries the details Google Scholar needs to list it.
Where it is now
Live since January 2026. It runs on its own server, tests run on every code change, and a release can be rolled back if something goes wrong.
The technical write-up, with diagrams and code, is on akinaydin.dev. Read it
